GSD Creatives is a community‑driven CIC dedicated to removing the barriers that prevent artists from building sustainable, fulfilling careers. The North East is home to an extraordinary network of artists, creative practitioners and small arts organisations. Their work shapes cultural identity, strengthens communities, and sparks pride in place. Yet many face obstacles that limit access to opportunities, reduce the impact of their work, and make it harder to build long‑term creative careers. We’re here to change that.

What We Do

We design and deliver projects, events and initiatives that bring artists together to collaborate, co‑create and thrive. As your document puts it, “when you develop collaborative peer networks of creative people and artists sparks fly and incredible things happen.”

Working alongside our Artist Associates, we co-create high‑quality community projects that:
